A platform, a square, a reading room. These are places encountered between appointments, but they are not merely intervals. They determine whether an ordinary journey feels like a sequence of obstacles or a continuous part of public life.

## 01 / Arrival

A station makes a complicated system briefly visible. Routes meet, people change direction and the timetable becomes a collection of individual decisions. Its public character is tested in the minutes between one vehicle and the next.

## 02 / Passage

A square is useful when it permits more than one pace. Some people need to cross quickly. Others need to pause, find their bearings or wait for someone. A successful public space can hold these uses without making the slower visitor feel like an obstruction.

## 03 / Staying

The reading room offers a different form of connection. It gives a journey somewhere to settle. The invitation does not depend on speed or a purchase; it depends on a shared understanding that a city should contain places in which a person may simply be.

These images are generated illustrations, not a record of a particular city. Together they demonstrate the rhythm of a photo essay: a short opening, generous image widths, specific captions and text that gives each frame room to matter.
